SUPPORT OUR VOLUNTEERS
Fund the Training and Equipment That Saves Lives
Protecting Our Community.
Powered By You.
Our volunteers give their time—you make their service possible.
When minutes matter, our community relies on our fire engines and ambulance to be ready. We raise the majority of the funds needed to keep these vital lifelines running, maintain essential equipment, and provide our members with the specialized, life-saving training they need. Your support ensures that when you call for help, fully equipped firefighters and EMTs are on the scene in seconds.
Your financial contribution is a direct investment in your family's safety.
Please donate today and stand with the volunteers who stand ready for you. We are an IRS 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, charitable organization (TIN#52-0739127), so your contributions are tax-deductible.

FAQs
Frequently Asked Questions
Why should I donate? Aren't my taxes used for fire protection?
Local taxes cover only a small portion of the fire company’s costs. Donations are crucial for funding the operational budget, buying and maintaining expensive equipment (like emergency medical technology, fire trucks, protective gear, and portable tools), specialized training, and firehouse maintenance.
Is my donation tax-deductible?
Yes! Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization (TIN#52-0739127) and qualifies for tax-deductible donations.
How can I make a donation?
The easiest way to donate money is to donate online HERE or by sending a check to the firehouse. Checks can be made out to “PVFC” and mailed to Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company, 30 East Sudbrook Lane, Pikesville, MD 21207. Or you can donate in person during an event or at the station.
Do you accept non-monetary donations (goods or services)?
Yes, we do accept in-kind donations such as:
- Office supplies or equipment.
- Food/water for long shifts or events.
- Certain professional services.
- Used, junk vehicles for extrication training
It's best to contact us first to ask about our current needs. Fill out the contact form HERE.
Do you solicit donations by phone?
No! We never solicit donations by telephone. Our annual fund drive is sent out by mail. If you receive a call, it could be a scam, and you should be wary.
Can I donate in honor or in memory of someone?
Yes! We can accept donations made as a tribute. Be sure to provide the honoree's name and contact
information (if applicable) so the department can acknowledge the gift. You can also buy a brick for our walkway HERE for our walkway as a lasting tribute.
