Open House
Our Annual Open House, held every October, is a fun, free, and educational event for the entire family! This is your chance to meet the dedicated volunteers who serve your community, get an up-close look at our fire trucks and rescue equipment, and watch exciting live demonstrations. Enjoy food, games, and learn critical fire prevention and first-aid skills right here at the station.
School Fire Drills
Our volunteers routinely partner with local schools and educational institutions to conduct and evaluate fire and emergency evacuation drills. This crucial service helps students and staff practice swift, safe responses, ensuring everyone knows exactly what to do when the alarm sounds.
Station Tours
Curious about what we do? We love welcoming our community for FREE tours of our station and apparatus for groups like schools, camps, and other organizations. Even our furry friends from service animal programs are welcome! Fill out a contact form to schedule a tour HERE.
Car Seat Safety
The Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company hosts a FREE Maryland KISS car seat safety event every other month. Learn how to properly choose, install, and use car seats to protect your children. Registration is required via the Maryland KISS website HERE.

For a modest fee that directly supports our operational fundraising, your package includes an exciting, supervised ride on a real fire engine and a fun, engaging fire safety talk led by one of our dedicated volunteers. Chametz Burn
We are happy to host the Chametz Burn the morning before Passover. We provide a safe, supervised, and lawful location for members of the Jewish community to dispose of leavened products (Chametz) as required by custom.
Santa Details
Every December, the Fire Company is proud to help Santa Claus trade his sleigh for one of our fire engines. This annual tradition is our way of spreading holiday joy throughout the community. Keep an eye (and ear!) out for Santa and our volunteers as we drive through local neighborhoods. It’s a holiday sight you won't want to miss!
