PVFC is holding several training opportunities:

Refresher training classes at Station 32

FADO Pumps class on June 29 at 7 p.m.

EVOC class on July 7 and 9 at 7 p.m. and July 12 at 9 a.m.

Signup sheets are posted in the Watchroom for both classes.

Pumps class begins June 2nd and will run on Tuesdays and Thursdays, except Convention Week.

C-Space Training is on June 7th, all day at BWI. Meet at Station 32 by 0730.

CPR will be all day on the 7th also.

 

Several EMS training classes are planned for 2009  - interested members should see Lt. Larry Goldberg or Lt. Scott Goldstein.  On June 30 and November 30, an EMS Skills class is being taught at Station 32, both days at 7 p.m.

For EMS recertification and to get new protocols online, here are the instructions; There is a required video to view on MIEMSS website.www.miemss.org EMT-B's a 27 minute video EMT-I and P's a 70 minute video After watching, check your Continuing Education and make sure you received your proper credit. 1.Log onto www.miemss.org and print out the 2009 replacement pages (approx 100 pages) MIEMSS does not supply paper updates anymore, however we will be receiving pocket protocols. 2. Read them, study them and become familiar with them. You have to take an on-line test by 7-1-2009 3. Log back onto www.miemms.org and take the test by 7-1-2009. Contact Lt.
